I'm running Debian in coLinux for the File Manager, panel (at right), and terminal. Netcat is running on the windows side to act as a gateway to be able to launch windows stuff from the Linux side, hence the file manager is actually usable, and clicking an image file (like in the screenshot) actually opens it using the native Windows viewer. Pretty neat stuff
Firefox is using the "Vimperator" extension, which removes most of the UI and gives much more advanced keyboard control.
coLinux by itself won't allow you to do this. My coLinux setup is currently using a "hack" in which the program netcat is started on the windows side and set to spawn cmd.exe whenever a connection is made. From the coLinux side I have a couple of small scripts that connect to this netcat and issue "start Path/Program" and "exit" which causes Windows to either launch the program, or open the file using whatever program is set to open that filetype. So the file manager (Thunar) has all its file associations set to launch my script which causes it all to be opened on the windows side. Sorry for the long explanation but hopefully that clears it up a bit
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
